Civic Awards: 2009 AIA-SFV Citation Award 2001 AIA-SFV Citation Award We were the winner of an invited competition to be the Theatre Architect of Record and Theatre Consultant for a state-of-the-art 84,000 sf Performing Arts Center in downtown Modesto for Stanislaus County. The Center includes a 1,200 seat Main stage Theatre with balcony and tension grid as well as a 400 seat Second stage Theatre. Moreover, the facility also includes an art gallery. The center can accommodate a symphony, dance, musicals, ballets and drama for both touring Broadway shows and resident civic and University companies. This venture was completed, for a final construction cost of $30,000,000 in April 2007.
