Educational We were the Joint Venture Architect and Theatre Consultant for the replacement of the 74,000 sf Garfield Auditorium featured in the Movie “Stand and Deliver” as well as the connected administration/classroom building. The 1300 seat state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center consists of a 2,000 sf dual-use dance studio and a black box theatre. We were able to incorporate some of the historical motifs in the theatre which was of great importance to the school. This is a CHPS (Collaborative for High Performance School Project). Construction was completed in April 2014 for the final construction cost of $54,000,000.
