We were the Architect for the restoration and renovation of the 52,000 sf., 2000 seat Los Angeles Orpheum Theatre to provide a venue for performance and assembly.  Work included upgrading the theatrical, mechanical, and electrical systems, audience chamber seating, dressing rooms, public restrooms, concession areas and box office.  New wheelchair positions were created at the balcony accessible by elevator and at the orchestra seating in addition to wheelchair boxes at the rear of the house.  New accessible restrooms were created in the basement reached by elevator.  This $4,000,000 restoration project was completed in 2002.
