Indian Spring High School Performing Arts Center for AIA Design Award

We are proud to share that we have been recognized with an Design Award by AIA San Fernando Valley for the Indian Spring High School Performing Arts Center. The project focused on creating a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center that elevates the student and community experience while setting a new standard for excellence in high school theater design. As Architect, Theatre Consultant, and Acoustician, JSFA designed the 19,000-square-foot facility to include a 500-seat multi-functional theatre with professional-grade theatrical lighting and sound systems.

The center features a full suite of support spaces, including an orchestra pit, scene shop, two dressing rooms, a green room, office, prop and costume storage, and a box office. A fully equipped black box theatre enhances the versatility of the facility, supporting both student productions and community events. The vibrant lobby showcases a student art gallery and a public gallery, reflecting the school’s strong commitment to the arts.

This recognition highlights the collaborative effort and vision that went into bringing this transformative project to life. We are honored to contribute to a space that supports artistic expression and education while strengthening community engagement through performing arts.
