As Architect, Theatre Consultant and Acoustician for the Las Virgenes Unified School District, we designed this 32,000 sf Performing Arts Educational Center for Calabasas High School. The Center is comprised of a 660 seat theatre, a 100 seat black box theatre and necessary support spaces.  A notable feature designed to enhance the theatre’s flexibility is a roll drop at the cross-aisle which allows a reduction of the seating to 220 for more intimate music and drama performances.  

This facility also possesses curving roof slopes for acoustical displacement and is covered with photovoltaic cells in the future for this LEED Silver Certification project.
