Longhu Blue Lake County Housing Development

Location: Chogqing, China 

Type: Master Planning/Commercial
We were the invited competition winner for a 2,500-unit housing development consisting primarily of townhouses with a small percentage of single-family homes and apartments.  The master plan of 6,700,000 sq. ft. also includes a K-12 school, a mall, commercial stores and restaurants as well as sports and recreational facilities.  The housing design responds to the terrain and climate and local materials to create a humanistic “green” Architecture.
