JSFA is serving as the architect, theater consultant, and acoustical consultant for this significant project. The facility is designed to support innovative and entrepreneurial thinking and programs’ that foster the school’s founding values.

On November 9, 2023, construction began on the $40 million Windward School Innovation Center, led by Turner Construction as the general contractor.The state-of-the-art, 33,500-square-foot facility will feature a 250-seat theater and a 250-seat recital hall with adjustable acoustics, offering reverberation times from 1.4 to 2.1 seconds. Founded in 1971, Windward School is a dynamic college-preparatory school for grades 7-12 located in Santa Monica that challenges each student to achieve excellence in a nurturing, inclusive community.
